The community of Versailles, Ohio is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Liam Archer Wilson, whose death on March 26, 2026 has left family, friends, and loved ones facing an unimaginable void.
Born on June 15, 2010, Liam brought light into the lives of those around him from the very beginning. His story, even in its earliest moments, was filled with warmth and connection. One family friend recalled being present at his birth, sharing a deeply personal memory of how his name came to be, inspired in a quiet, unexpected moment that would forever hold meaning. “It was amazing seeing you being born and hearing you cry… you were the sweetest boy.”
Liam was known for his sharp intelligence and a personality that balanced humor in its many forms, sometimes playful and silly, other times carrying a deeper edge. He found joy in simple but meaningful things, video games, long walks, animals, sushi, and especially time spent with family. His bond with those closest to him, including his beloved pet Gimli, reflected a life rooted in connection and comfort.
He is survived by his mother, Wendi Wilson of Versailles; his father, Pete Wilson of Jacksonville, Florida; his brothers Miles and Wolfgang; and a wide circle of extended family who now carry both his memory and the weight of his absence. His life, though far too short, left an imprint that will not fade.
A celebration of Liam’s life will be held on April 6, 2026, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember him. In place of traditional gifts, those wishing to honor Liam are encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice or plant a tree in his memory, a quiet tribute to a life that, while brief, mattered deeply.
Liam Archer Wilson’s obituary is not defined by the years he lived, but by the love he gave and received. And in that, his presence continues.
